Anime Squadron Traits Guide

Superior and Cloner are the premium targets, but the best practical trait still depends on whether the unit is DPS, support, farm or tank.

Best trait rule: Superior or Cloner for premium DPS and support, Entrepreneur or Wealthy for farm units, and Rebirth for tanks or hard-stage anchors.

Trait guidance source note

Roblox publicly confirms the unit loop of summoning, upgrading, leveling, evolving and unlocking abilities. Specific trait guidance below is organized from the supplied ranking notes and should be updated when reliable in-game trait data changes.

Trait tier list

Use this as the fast reroll priority chart. A high-tier trait on the wrong role can still be wasteful, so check the role-fit table before spending more currency.

TierTraitsBest onReported valueReroll rule
DPS / SupportSuperior > ClonerPremium DPS and most support unitsSuperior is the default chase trait for raw unit value; Cloner is still excellent when an extra copy changes the route.Use Superior first for most DPS/support units, but Shinks should prioritize Cloner.
FarmEntrepreneur > WealthyFastwagon and long-route economy unitsEntrepreneur is the best economy trait, while Wealthy is the fallback when the map is long enough for income to matter.Only chase economy traits when the unit actually pays back on the mode you farm.
TankRebirth or ClonerSkeleton Knight, Shield Hero, Big Beard and tanky hybridsRebirth adds survival safety, while Cloner can double a tank or hybrid unit when placement value matters.Pick based on whether your run fails from survival or from needing one more copy.

Best gear and trait pairings

Match gear to the mode first: short DPS runs, Infinite, DoT, farm and tank slots all use different setups.

DoT DPSSuperior or ClonerFull Shenron Set plus Mythic Set for Madora, Shanron and similar DoT units.Gear that only improves short burst on a burn or DoT carry.

Do not waste reroll resources

  • Do not reroll a temporary story unit unless it unlocks immediate progression.
  • Do not chase a perfect trait before you know the unit's evolution path.
  • Do not use rare reroll currency on support before your main damage unit is stable.
  • Keep one good trait if the next reroll would only be a tiny upgrade.

Player questions

Questions players ask

Quick answers for the checks players usually make before redeeming codes, rerolling traits, or changing a team.

What is the best trait in Anime Squadron?

The best trait depends on unit role. Carries want damage or speed, support wants uptime or range, and economy wants resource efficiency.

Should I reroll traits early?

Usually no. Early rerolls are only worth it if a single better trait lets you clear a route you are currently stuck on.

What should I spend Perfect Cubes on?

Spend Perfect Cubes on units you expect to keep after evolution or on a core carry that unlocks major progression.
