Use one carry and the cheapest units that stop leaks. Do not chase perfect traits yet.
A strong team is not five rare units. It is a lineup that answers waves, bosses, upgrades, lane pressure and resource timing.
The safest template is premium DPS plus support plus economy plus a map answer. For mid-to-late play, the reference highlights Gometa, Karashi, Vegata and Fastwagon as a practical core.
The template below is grounded in the public Roblox description: Anime Squadron has lane pressure, bosses, waves, unit upgrades and team play. GAMES.GG is used for example lineups, but role coverage remains the safest planning model when balance changes.

| Creator | Komplex Studio Roblox group | Official Roblox game page and group API |
| Game type | Roblox lists Anime Squadron under Strategy / Tower Defense, and the official description calls it a lane battler. | Official Roblox game page and game API |

Use these as starting templates, then swap units based on what you actually own and which stage is failing.
| Plan | Units | Why it works | Priority action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-to-late all modes | Gometa with Superior, Karashi with Rebirth, Vegata with Cloner, Fastwagon with a farm trait | Balances premium damage, speed, a cloneable DPS slot and economy acceleration. | Max Fastwagon early so expensive units deploy faster. |
| Madora farming | Two DPS units, Shinks and Fastwagon | Keeps enough damage on Ninja Village Squadron Act 4 while support and money smooth the run. | Swap in Vegata with Cloner if that is your stronger route. |
| Shanron farming | Vegata with Cloner, or two DPS units plus Shinks and Fastwagon | The reference route highlights Vegata with Cloner as a strong option for GT City Raid Act 4. | Use the stable two-DPS template if solo routing is inconsistent. |
| Slot | Role | What it solves | Trait direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Main carry | Normal waves and early lanes | Damage or speed |
| 2 | Boss DPS | High-health enemies and stage bosses | Burst or boss damage |
| 3 | Support / control | Buff uptime, slows, stuns or range pressure | Cooldown, range or uptime |
| 4 | Economy / flex | Long-map scaling or missing damage type | Income, cost or role fit |
| 5 | Map answer | The specific lane, boss or wave your team fails | Match the problem |

Team identity
Add boss DPS and one support. Start saving rerolls for units you will evolve.
Scaling test
Balance damage, control, economy and upgrade timing. Test whether each slot still matters after waves scale.
Player questions
Quick answers for the checks players usually make before redeeming codes, rerolling traits, or changing a team.
The best team has role coverage: carry, boss DPS, support/control, economy or flex, then one map-specific answer.
Not automatically. Rarity helps only when the unit covers a role your team needs.
Change the slot causing failures. If waves leak, change carry or control. If bosses survive, change boss DPS.
