Anime Squadron Evolution Guide

Evolution should change what your account can clear. Gometa is the main long-term evolution target, while expensive flex evolutions should wait until your core is stable.

Best evolution priority: build toward Gometa through Goki Full Power when possible, then invest in long-term DPS, boss killers and supports that multiply that damage.

Evolution source note

The official Roblox description states that players can level up, evolve and unlock abilities. The priority table below is a practical planning model for scarce materials, with top-unit path notes expanded from the GAMES.GG external reference.

Top unit unlock and evolution paths

Use this before spending rare materials. Some premium units require act clears, raid progress, pity planning or a specific evolution chain.

Gometa (SSJ4)Evolve Goki to Full Power, finish the related questline, then gather Primal Core materials.Top long-fight carry target and the unit most worth planning evolution materials around.
Woo (Shadow)Banner Secret reported with a 20,000 summon pity. One of the highest DPS targets, but requires gem discipline and pity planning.
Madora (Gunbai)Clear Ninja Village Squadron Act 4.Strong burn and boss-killing value, with a clearer progression target than pure banner luck.
Shanron (Omega)Clear GT City Raid Act 4, then plan for a costly evolution path.Versatile DPS, tank and support value, but the investment cost makes timing important.
Shield HeroBattle Pass reward.Best practical tank before Gometa can carry durability duties.

Before evolving

  • Check whether the evolved unit remains in your best team.
  • Compare the upgrade to leveling your current carry or boss DPS.
  • Do not evolve a unit only because materials are available.
  • Save rare materials until you know the unit's role and trait direction.

Player questions

Questions players ask

Quick answers for the checks players usually make before redeeming codes, rerolling traits, or changing a team.

Which unit should I evolve first?

Evolve the unit that changes your clears the most, usually a long-term carry or boss DPS.

Should I evolve a support unit first?

Usually wait. Support evolution is stronger after you already have a damage unit worth amplifying.

Is evolution always better than rerolling traits?

No. Evolution and traits solve different problems. Evolve for core stat or ability gains; reroll for role fit on a keeper.
